Are you looking for a fill in drummer with a Professional Attitude and Approach?

I am a strong believer in playing with style and class, not banging away!    I have various types of experience, including Recording Studio work.     Musical styles include:

  • Classic and Newer Country

  • Blues

  • Classic Rock

Current Bands include:

  • Whiskey Canyon Band (Up-Tempo Country)

  • Cannonball Paul (Train Theme Show Band)

  • Buddy and the Blue Dogs (Classic R&B)

The largest influences on my drumming have been:

  • Gordy Knudtson, whom I am sure you are aware of as the long time drummer for the Steve Miller Band.    Check out Gordy's web site by clicking on his name above.

  • Phil Hey and Jay Epstein two of the most talented Jazz Drummers you will find.

  • Rob Stupka, Doug James and Michael Velasquez also help me a tremendous amount.

A BIG THANKS to each of them!

Past Music ventures include:

  • The "Darlene Nelson Band", a Classic Country and Rock Band

  • "Creekside Country Music Jamboree" at the Creekside Community Center in Bloomington, MN

  • The "Dixie Hicks Band", Country Band

  • North Side Country Music Jamboree in Blaine

  • "The Jinx Breakers", Blues Band

  • The "Barn Stomppers", Classic Country Band

  • The George Bedford Blues Band

  • The Wheat Farm "Formerly "The Wheat Farmers" an original county folk rock band playing weddings and private parties.

  • A West Bank Music School Jazz Ensemble led by the tremendously talented Doug Little.   You need to check out his web site and go hear him when you can!

  • "Cool Blue Oasis" was a pop rock band lead by the very talented song writer and artist, Sean Goffin.    The bands album "Light of Day" reached #3 for several week on "American Idol Underground"

  • Other experience includes several recording projects, and fill in work with a number of bands.
